These terms apply to every software product that Cross Software ("Cross") sells. When you buy or use a Cross product, you agree to these terms.
01 Service
Cross builds and sells AI tools for software engineers. Cross sells them as monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, or one-time software licences. Prices are shown at checkout.
02 Accounts
Some products require an account. You must give a valid email address. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your password private. Tell Cross at once if you think someone else has used your account.
03 Payment and billing
All prices are in US dollars (USD). A third-party payment processor handles payments. Cross does not store your card number.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. Cross charges your payment method at each renewal until you cancel. The renewal price is the price shown at checkout at the time of renewal. Cross gives you at least 30 days of notice by email before a price change takes effect.
Taxes are added at checkout where the law requires them. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your purchase.
04 Cancellation
To cancel, email hello@cross.software at any time. Where a product offers it, you can also cancel from your account settings. After you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Cross does not charge you again after that.
05 Refunds
The Refund and cancellation policy sets out when Cross gives a refund and how to ask for one.
06 Acceptable use
You must not use a Cross product to break the law, to harm other people, or to attack any system. You must not copy, resell, or share the product outside the terms of your licence. You must not try to reverse engineer the product unless the law gives you that right. Cross can suspend or end your access if you break these rules.
07 Intellectual property
Cross owns the software, the documentation, and the brand. Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product. You keep ownership of the data you put into the product.
08 Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Cross supplies each product "as is", without warranty of any kind. Cross does not promise that a product is free of errors or that it is available at all times. To the extent the law allows, Cross is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. To the extent the law allows, the total liability of Cross to you is limited to the amount you paid to Cross in the 12 months before the claim.
09 Governing law
The laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario govern these terms. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms.
